What Makes Refractory Bricks Mute?
There are many mute refractory bricks on the market. Those are defective products. There are six reasons for the mute refractory bricks.
1) There are too many impurities in the raw materials, such as stones, grass, sand, etc.;
2) The raw materials are unweathered and used just after mined, which is likely to cause mute refractory bricks;
3) There are too many sand in the raw materials and the bricks are of lamination defects when molding;
4) The bricks absorb the moisture in the air, resulting in a resurgence of adobe and mute bricks after firing;
5) The wet bricks are preheated too fast without adequate drying which will cause inner crakcs;
6) The insulation cooling time is too short and the temperature drops too fast.
