The Use Of Fused Cast AZS Block
Fused cast AZS block is mainly used in the glass furnace. Selecting different AZS block in different for the different parts for the glass furnace is important for improving the technical and economic indicators of the furnace and fulfilling the technical quality effect of refractory materials. At the same time, the correct evaluation of the quality of refractory materials is equally important for improving the effect of refractories.
Currently, fused cast AZS block can be divided into two types based on the melting method: the reducing method and the oxidation method. The AZS block by the reduction method uses traditional production process. Its process has not be changed substantially over the years, but in recent years, with the progress of the glass melting technology, the variety and the casting method has some changes.
The fused cast AZS block by the oxidation method is is now widely used in the large-scale glass melting furnaces. In recent years, it tends to replace the AZS block by the reducting method. There are a variety of AZS products, such as 33#, 36#, 41# and fused cast zircon mullite block. They can meet the requirements of different parts of the furnace. AZS block 33# and 41# are used most widely, while AZS 36# is seldom used. fused cast zircon mullite block is a low-grade refractory material and is mainly used in the less demanding middle and small glass furnace.
In order to improve the performance of refractory materials in different parts, different products by different casting methods are developed. The technology of PT casting, QX casting, ZWS casting and WS casting have been mature. The quality of fused cast AZS block has been greatly improved in recent years.
