What are Ceramic Fiber Vacuum Formed Shapes
Ceramic Fiber Vacuum Formed Shapes are made of high-quality ceramic fiber cotton by vacuum molding. They are shaped products with excellent high temperature performance and self-supporting strength.
Ceramic Fiber Vacuum Formed Shapes are made from high-quality ceramic fiber cotton by adding inorganic and suitable organic binders. The mixture is vacuum processed into boards or formed shapes that keep good mechanical strength after heating. According to the classification temperature, they can be divided into five types: 1000℃, 1260℃, 1400℃, 1600℃ and 1700℃.
They are shaped products to meet the requirement of specific production process of some industrial departments. Different products with different shapes and sizes may need different molds. According to the requirement for the properties, different binders and additives are added.
All Ceramic Fiber Vacuum Formed Shapes have low shrinkage within its operating temperature range, and maintain their high insulation, lightweight and impact resistant. They are easy to cut and process before heated. During use, they have good resistance to wear and spalling, and will not be wet by most molten metals.
They have a variety of sizes and shapes, including tubular, conical, dome-shaped and box-shaped. Their physical and thermal properties are similar to the vacuum forming plate of corresponding levels. If desired, vacuum forming hardener and refractory clay can be applied on the shaped products to provide a protective layer.
Ceramic Fiber Vacuum Formed Shapes have low thermal conductivity, low heat capacity, good thermal stability, and excellent resistance to thermal shock and wind erosion. They are widely used in observation holes, thermometer holes, burner brick, furnace door, header groove and chutes in the industrial furnaces.
